The Celtic boss declared he was not afraid of dismissal, claiming, “The team is very near to things turning around,” despite moving dangerously close to being fired with a convincing loss to Rangers.

A Second-Half Capitulation Leads to Derby Disaster

But that’s why, when it comes to wins, I mentioned we've seen this before. Which is why I believe we are really close to things turning around. Right now: small things.”

“There were many, many good things that we did, as was the case today. However is sustaining it. My narrative would change if I didn't believe it. This is why I am convinced we’re going to be able to turn things around.”

Röhl’s Cautious Stance

The victorious boss played down talk of a championship push despite what appeared to be a huge result. “One match at a time, and we can gradually build a challenge,” he said. “The confidence in the squad is excellent.”
