I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Still, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
